Summary/Objective

This position meets and greets the public and directs them to the proper resources. This position provides front desk, office management and program/administrative support for the Department of Public Administration and Policy. Duties include,, but are not limited to record keeping, data entry, correspondence, work study supervision, inventory control, event assistance, scheduling for faculty. Two student employees report to this position.

35 Non-exempt

Salary Range

Commensurate with experience. 

Required Education and Experience
  • Associate's degree or equivalent
  • 1-2 years office experience/program support
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Experience with running and analyzing Business Intelligence report
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in computer applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for data entry projects and presentations
  • Very basic data management skills using Excel or similar software
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a customer-service orientation
  • Ability to work with individuals from diverse background.
  • Demonstrated experience handling confidential information and materials with discretion
