Dining Programs Coordinator (5378)

The Dining Programs Coordinator is responsible for the timely posting of all meal plans to student records (Datatel and Blackboard Transact), program coordination and promotion for Dining Services events and venues, installation and troubleshooting of hardware and software problems, managing student and parent concerns regarding meal plans and EagleBucks transactions. The incumbent shares responsibility for the EagleBucks campus debit card program including but not limited to the recruitment and support of on and off campus merchants, developing and providing regular reports, maintaining web service, and acting as a liaison with various campus offices (Dining Services, e-operations, etc.). The incumbent also serves as a primary customer service representative in the office responsible for being able to assist with all facets of departmental operations.

Work Environment

  • This position requires a great deal of coordination with other staff members in One Card and Dining programs office as well as with other University offices and personnel

  • The Dining Programs Coordinator must be willing and able to perform as part of a team and on occasion lead team activities 

  • Some occasional nights and weekend hours may be required at specific times of the year

  • 35 non-exempt
  • Coordinator/Analyst B

Salary Range

  • Commensurate with experience 

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant work experience in a professional office setting, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • Good organizational, time management, communication, and customer service skills 

  • Ability to utilize computer software to gather, analyze and present financial information 

  • The desired candidate must have strong customer service skills 

  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of constituencies desired 

  • Must have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills and have the ability to work quickly, accurately and independently

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Ability to communicate in written and oral formats to a diverse customer base preferred 
  • Familiarity with computerized point-of-sale systems preferred
  • Experience with and knowledge of financial record-keeping principles preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Blackboard, and Ellucian-Colleague products preferred
