Summary/Objective

The Enrollment Reporting Analyst is a key member of the OUR Information Systems and Analytics team. Under the direction of the Assistant Registrar for Information Systems and Analytics, this individual is responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of student enrollments and degrees to the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) and National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS). The position works closely with other units in the Registrar’s Office and provides information to administrative and academic offices across campus. The position assists with OUR testing of processes for Ellucian Colleague and other third party vendor patches and upgrades, and provides project support to the OUR.

 

This position reports directly to the Assistant Registrar for Information Systems and Analytics and works closely with the Business Intelligence Analyst, Systems Application Analyst, Reporting Coordinator and the Associate Registrar for Information Services and Student Systems. Under the direction of the Assistant Registrar, this individual works closely with OIT and other staff throughout the academic and administrative units.

Salary Range

  • Commensurate with experience

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of academic administration, business process management and system troubleshooting techniques
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including spelling, grammar and proofreading skills necessary to proof and edit documents for publication
  • Excellent Microsoft Word skills, advanced experience with Excel, and the ability to collect, report and analyze data
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively with other units in the Registrar’s Office and university departments

Preferred Education and Experience

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • One+ years of Ellucian Colleague experience
  • Over 2 years of experience at a university or college
  • Familiarity with laws and regulations affecting academic institutions (FERPA, ADA, HEA, etc.) preferred
  • SharePoint development including forms, workflows, and reports
  • Experience working in student services related processes (financial aid, registrar, student accounts)
  • Experience with a variety of reporting tools including SQL, MicroStrategy or Tableau, Microsoft Office suite, Informer
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to sufficiently understand and analyze data to recognize data anomalies and problems and suggest
  • corrective actions
  • Demonstrated ability to work creatively and collaboratively in a diverse and fast moving office environment
  • Demonstrated ability to be a fast learner and a fast starter in a continuously evolving technological environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service to a diverse customer base
