The Sr. AV Technician coordinates the production of podcasts, webcasts, videos, etc., and the setup of academic and event spaces, including microphones, speakers, lighting, and other equipment as needed. In addition, the Sr. AV Technician also works with the Assistant Director, Academic and Media Technology to program all AMX and Crestron devices to the specifications of the WCL Audio Visual systems users. The position works with other members of the AV staff, under the direction of the Assistant Director, to ensure that all incoming A/V requests are addressed, work tickets are created or updated, and services are appropriately delivered.

Salary Range

  • Commensurate with experience

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Familiarity with word processing, database and spreadsheet software
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating a broad range of audio and video equipment

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience
  • AV Certification preferred (CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I or CAVSP)
