Summary/Objective

The position reports directly to the Associate Director and has no direct reports. The incumbent's main responsibilities include but are not limited to supporting the Associate Director with all various billing and collection functions related to student, sponsor, and special program receivables. Overall goal for the position is to ensure the timely and accurate posting of student, sponsor, and special program receivable transactions. The position responsibilities are there to contribute to the overall office performance including service quality, reduced receivables, and to have fewer bad debt write-offs. The Student Account Operations Specialist will enhance the support functions associated with the university's long-range goal of offering additional special programs.

Salary Range

  • 43,000.00 to 47,000.00 (Annually)

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education, training, and/or experience
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills using sound judgment within policy parameters
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required to create spreadsheets, presentations and other documents
  • Strong knowledge of data management and analysis
  • Must be able to take initiative, prioritize and complete work with minimal supervision in fast-paced, deadline-oriented office

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Have a high understanding of media tools and design skills (knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign and/or Adobe Illustrator)
  • Ability to use media tools and other technological methods to enhance the Office of Student Account communications
