Position Summary

The Academic Coaching team seeks an academic coaching administrative assistant (ACAA).  Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to helping to research, co-create, and update academic coaching skills resources; maintaining social media accounts; and providing general office support for the Program staff such as email management and general student outreach. The ACAA will work closely with the team, meeting throughout the week with the supervisor to discuss project developments and timelines.

Minimum Qualifications Including Education

  • Currently enrolled American University graduate degree-seeking student.
  • Excellent writing, speaking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet established work deadlines
  • Mid-to-advanced level computer software skills in Microsoft Office; Google Suite; and Canva
  • Mid-to-advance level skills in social media management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Graphic design, social media, and/or marketing experience
  • Advanced understanding of Google Spreadsheets
