Campus Life Summer Office Assistant

Summary/Job Duties

  • Greet department guests and direct visitors to appropriate destination; receive and transfer incoming calls
  • Provide reception and clerical support to the Office of Campus Life (Vice President, Title IX Office, Dean of Students and Orientation, Transition and Retention)
  • Mantain an accurate inventory of all coffee and office supplies
  • Assist with event planning and logistical support for events and activities
  • Other duties as assigned            


  • Strong customer service skills; personable, dependable
  • Detail-oriented; willing to take initiative and work independently
  • Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Knowledge of and experience with graphic design, social media outreach, video productions and/or journalism for the web and post production editing skills, a plus.

Required Education and Experience

Juniors and Seniors only. Previous experience working on campus or in an office environment. Communications, Film, Public Relations, and Journalism majors encouraged to apply.

Salary Range


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

15-25 hours a week

Additional Information

A flexible schedule is preferred. Hours worked will be between 11-5pm, Monday through Friday thru mid-August
