Eagle Endowment Coordinator

The Eagle Endowment for Public and Community Service is seeking an organized, self-motivated passionate graduate student coordinator. The Eagle Endowment for Public and Community Service is a student-run program in the Center for Community Engagement & Service that funds student initiatives for public and community service. The Coordinator oversees three grant cycles, grant recipients' use of the funds, the finances of the Endowment, and coordination of the Eagle Endowment Council, an advisory committee composed of undergraduate and graduate students at AU. The position is in the Center for Community Engagement & Service located in Mary Graydon Center Room 273 and requires a 15 hours per week commitment. Coordinators will operate under the academic schedule, with an expected start date in mid-August 2021. Paid training will occur for 4-6 weeks leading up to the Fall 2021 semester.


Essential Functions

Oversee Eagle Endowment Council

  • Recruit council members
  • Establish meeting calendar

Oversee Multiple Grant Cycles

  • Execute outreach campaigns
  • Open and close out grants

Writing & Website

  • Write monthly report
  • Update website


  • Identify fundraising opportunities and other areas for development
  • Oversee all fundraising activities 


  • Manage the Eagle Endowment budget
  • Track the status of Eagle Endowment grants and projects


  • Create flyers and other promotional material for all grant cycles

  • Budget experience
  • Strong Writing Skills
  • Experience of Service-Related Projects
  • Presentation Skills

Preferred but not required:

  • Website Design Experience
  • Social Media Experience

Salary Range

  • $16 per/hour
