Summary/Objective

The Events Assistant is responsible for assisting the Event Coordinator during special events in the Museum usually on evenings and weekends. Events include gallery talks, tours, openings, private events, etc. with attendance ranging between 20 - 2,000 visitors. This position will assist the Event Coordinator whose duties include: organizing event setup, directing caterers, coordinating AV needs, supervising other gallery attendants during the event, and overseeing clean up and ensuring the museum is closed properly.

The hours for this position change based on the event schedule for each week. 10-20 hours. 

Salary Range

13.25-13.50
