Summary/Objective
Professor Shatha Almutawa (Philosophy and Religion Department) is considering applications for a work-study research assistant position for the spring semester. The research assistant will join a team of researchers working on the reception of Buddhist, Jewish, and Greek texts in the Arabic literature of tenth-century Iraq. The ideal candidate will have Hebrew language skills and/or a background in Jewish Studies. Research responsibilities will include research on biblical and rabbinic texts. The work commitment is five hours per week. The position is remote but access to library resources is preferred.

- Allow for full telework (subject to change due to the University’s operating status)
- Restricted for Federal Work Study Wages
Salary Range
- $15\hour
