Faculty Services and Facilities Assistant - FWS

Summary/Objective

  • Serve as first point of contact for faculty, staff, student, and external group inquiries via email and phone.
  • Coordinate and facilitate setup logistics for events in SIS Founders, Atrium, and SIS 300
  • Report maintenance requests to 2Fix
  • Assist with faculty/staff office moves (packing boxes with books/files/office items, move boxes with hand truck).
  • Provide the Administrative Service Manager HUB, faculty/staff supply orders weekly and take weekly inventory of the HUB supplies.
  • General administrative support (copying, faxing, scanning, mail distribution, etc.).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

  • Restricted for FWS students 

Eligibility Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in multicultural environments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Customer Service focus is essential.
  • Comfortable moving event tables/chairs and able to lift 25 pounds.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Experience using Lotus Notes.
  • Previous experience working in an AU campus office.
