Graduate Program Coordinator

This position would support 400+ students, 36 Dean’s Fellows, 20+ adjuncts, and five faculty members. The position would complete special projects related to the Program, including the administrative tasks necessary to support coordination of and maintain effective communication with adjunct faculty. This position will maintain relevant learning management systems and webpages. They will provide vital continuity and consistency across the program.

Essential Functions

  • The employee will improve communication with adjuncts, students, Dean’s Fellows, and other WCL staff during daytime hours.
  • The employee will allow for the timely preparation and distribution of course materials, grade information, etc. during daytime hours.
  • The employee will facilitate professors, adjunct faculty, and students in the teaching and learning activities of the Program, including faculty, adjunct faculty, and Dean’s Fellow training during daytime hours.
  • The employee will coordinate aspects of the work of Dean’s Fellows, including creating and managing work schedules for Writing Fellows who serve the entire 1L class during daytime hours.
  • The employee will process reimbursement requests, screen and handle direct incoming phone calls and distribute mail.
  • The employee will schedule classrooms, courtrooms, workshops, and events in person and online during daytime hours.
  • The employee will arrange media/recording services for instructors as needed during daytime hours.
  • The employee will coordinate the fall Legal Rhetoric exam, including exam re-takes.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

27 hours during day and department will work with graduate student.

Salary Range

$16.10 - $20.00

Required Education and Experience

BS or equivalent 

Preferred Education and Experience

Working toward a graduate degree.
