Math/Stat Research Assistant - Federal Work Study

Summary/Objective

Sonar signature analysis: This project involves determining" the variability of the echoes of underwater objects based on changing noise and environmental factors.  A student is sought who will assist in developing and analyzing a simulation of sonar echoes.  Background familiarity with sonar signatures or their analysis is not required, but the student should be comfortable programming in Python or Matlab.
