Summary/Objective

The graduate assistant for programming  is a member of the Center for Student Involvement team who is responsible for co-advising the student government programming boards (kennedy political union, student union board, womens' initative, and founders week) in the areas of risk management, leadership training, and programming. The position will also support signature Center for Student Involvement Welcome Week and Late Night & Weekend programs .

  • co-advise the student boards with the Assistant Director of Programming Initiatives 
  • provide support for student leaders with virtual involvement, council training
  • faciliate leadership trainings for boards
  • attend student programs and provide support

Work Environment

  • In person/virtual hybrid model

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

  • Part time 20 hours a week

Salary Range

  • $16/hr

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree required 
  • Student programming experience

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Experience with large scale programming and leadership development
  • Ability to adapt to and work in a fast-paced, ever changing enviroment 
  • Ability to work effectivley with diverse constituencies 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality 
  • Ability to work collaboratively
