Summary/Objective
An assistant for ongoing research on South Asia. Work will involve identifying and organizing the main sources of data on a mix of social and economic policy issues – including data on caste, agriculture, alcohol consumption and domestic violence. Based on interest and ability, work could also include some basic analysis of data and literature. Flexible schedule, between 3 to 5 hours per week.
Requirements: Basic familiarity with MS Excel software. Knowledge of basic statistics (Stat 202 or AP-Stat) would be helpful if interested in doing some data analysis; Ability to write clearly and in a timely fashion.
