SIS Undergraduate Advising Work Study

Summary/Objective

Incumbents support a team of seven advisors by providing reception and administrative support for the SIS Undergraduate Advising Office.  Duties will include but are not limited to scheduling appointments, filing, answering the front desk phone and email, and greeting students and other guests. Other duties will include scanning and photocopying, data entry, and delivering documents to different campus departments.   

Work Environment

This is a busy office, and we expect the student to be punctual and mature.  A welcoming professional demeanor and attention to detail are important for success in this position.  Incumbents are required to have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and be able to complete projects with minimal supervision.  A high level of discretion is required in working with confidential information, and all student workers will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement as a condition of employment.  

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Between 9 AM and 5 PM Monday-Friday.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
